Meet Wales Goebel—one of the coolest guys ever! When he was 39 years old, he felt God telling him to stop building houses and start helping young people learn about Jesus instead. For many years, he led thousands of kids and teenagers to know Jesus as their Savior!

But here’s the really amazing part: When Wales turned 92, he felt God calling him to a brand-new ministry. He told his wife, “I think God wants me to start a ministry at the lake.” So every day, this 92-year-old man would go sit on a park bench by the water and pray, “God, please send someone for me to talk to about You!”

And guess what? God did! That park bench became Wales’ outdoor church where he told lots of people about Jesus and helped them start studying the Bible. He’s 97 years old now and is STILL doing this!

Wales shows us that we’re never too young OR too old to tell others about Jesus! You don’t need a fancy church building or special equipment. Sometimes all you need is a caring heart and a willingness to talk to people about God’s love.

Think About It: Wales used a park bench as his place to share Jesus. What places do you go where you could tell someone about God’s love? Maybe the playground, your school cafeteria, or even your own backyard. Ask God to help you notice opportunities to share His love with others, just like Wales did!
