Love Never Gives Up
Love never fails. 1 Corinthians 13:8
Have you ever had a brother or sister who REALLY got on your nerves? Maybe they kept coming into your room without asking, or they broke your favorite toy, or they always wanted to tag along when you were playing with your friends.
Imagine if every time they annoyed you, you said, “That’s it! I’m done being your sibling!” That would be silly, right? Even when siblings bother each other, deep down they still love each other. They might get mad, but they don’t give up on each other!
That’s kind of like what the Bible means when it says, “Love never fails.” Real love doesn’t quit when things get hard. It keeps going even when the other person is annoying or makes mistakes. Think about how your parents love you. Even when you disobey or mess up or have a bad attitude, they still love you! They might correct you or give you consequences, but they don’t stop loving you. That’s because real love doesn’t give up!
Jesus is the ultimate example of love that never fails. When He was on earth, His disciples made so many mistakes. But did Jesus give up on them? No way! He kept loving them, kept believing in them, and after He rose from the dead, He came back to them and trusted them to tell others about Him.
Jesus’ love for you never fails either! Even when you do something wrong, even when you forget to pray, even when you have a bad day—Jesus never stops loving YOU!
Take Action: Whom do you love most in your life? Your parents? Your siblings? Your friends? Think of one way you could show your love to them by making a sacrifice this week. Maybe give up some of your screen time to help with chores. Maybe let your brother or sister choose the game you play even though you want to choose. Maybe use your allowance to buy someone a small gift instead of spending it on yourself. When we sacrifice for others, we’re loving like Jesus loves!

PARTNER WITH us

As a father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, the importance of family has always been a core value in my life. I have been a pastor for decades, watching families grow and generation after generation come up in faith. That is why Bible Strong Kids is so important to me. What better legacy to leave for our children and grandchildren than to raise them up in faith, strengthening them for the journey ahead all the way into adulthood?
I hope you will join us in this endeavor to create the next generation of Bible Strong Kids—children who know their worth in God’s eyes and are equipped to shine His light in an increasingly dark world.
