He Lives in You
Nevertheless, I tell you the truth. It is to your advantage that I go away; for if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you; but if I depart, I will send Him to you. John 16:7
Imagine you have the best coach in the entire world. This coach knows everything, is never wrong, is always encouraging, and always knows exactly the right thing to say. Now imagine this coach could be with you all the time, giving you guidance every single moment of every single day.
Well, if you believe in Jesus, you don’t have to imagine—that’s real! Because you have the Holy Spirit living inside you!
When Jesus was about to return to heaven, His disciples were heartbroken. They didn’t want Him to leave! But Jesus told them something they couldn’t believe: it was actually better for Him to go. Because when He went, He would send the Holy Spirit. And the Holy Spirit wouldn’t just be near them, He would be in them. Every believer would have God Himself living inside them!
If you follow Jesus, that includes you! You have the Holy Spirit living inside you right now. The Bible says He is your Helper, your Guide, your Comforter, your Source of strength. When you feel weak, He provides power. When you’re confused, He gives wisdom. When you’re sad, He brings comfort.
You are never on your own because He lives in you!
Take Action: When you face something hard today, pause and quietly pray: “Holy Spirit, You live in me. Give me what I need right now.” Then watch what happens! Practice trusting the Helper who is always with you, always available, and always ready to help!
